Microsoft Security Patches Are Out Today.

Our system administrators are ready for a not so big, but very scary October Pumpkin Patch Tuesday release from Microsoft. The October security patch release will include 8 bulletins with 4 that are critical. The majority of the critical security updates deal with remote code execution in Windows and Server. Clients with Server OS will require a shut down and restart for this important remote execution security patch!

Your dedicated technician is waiting for your call to keep your system up to date, and check your backup.

Microsoft releases security patches the second Tuesday of every month. Adobe, JAVA, and other software vendors also prepare their corrective updates around this time. Your technician wants to assist with this regular maintenance necessary to keep your computer healthy, and virus free. While we are helping to maintain your system, it will be a good time to validate your backup too. Making sure your backup is there, and working is incredibly important!

OCTOBER 8th PATCH TUESDAY SUMMARY :

Bulletin 2 Critical Remote Code Execution Requires restart Microsoft Windows
Bulletin 3 Critical Remote Code Execution May require restart Microsoft Windows, Microsoft .NET
